Q: What sizes are your cakes?
A: Our large cakes are just over 9 inches in diameter and will serve up to 18, depending on how generous your slices are. Our medium cakes measure 8 inches and will serve 8 good sized slices.

Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Ground shipping is included in the prices of our cakes. Since cakes are baked fresh daily, your cake(s) will normally arrive within 5 business days of your order being placed. You have the option of choosing 2nd Day Air shipping for an additional cost if you need your order sooner. We are based in Florida, so depending on your location, ground shipping may require much less than the 5 day window.

Q: How do I store your cakes?
A: Rum Cake Island cakes may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks and in the freezer for up to 6 months (or maybe even longer- we have never have any around long enough to find out for sure!)
Our cakes should be wrapped securely with a double layer of plastic wrap, especially before putting them in the freezer. Cakes are best served at room temperature and will remain very moist and delicious even if left under a cake dome on the counter for up to a week. The chances of your cake actually lasting that long are very slim.

Q: Do your products contain nuts?
A: Both the Traditional rum cake and the Banana Nut rum cake contain pecans. There are no nuts in the Chocolate Coconut rum cake, only coco'nut'. You may email or call to request the Traditional version without nuts. Your order may take an additional day to ship.

Q: Do your cakes contain alcohol?
A: Yes, our cakes do contain rum, however, the alcohol evaporates during the baking process, resulting in a super moist and flavorful cake. This is safe for your children to eat. Mine like the chocolate coconut best!
